Tower of Arathor
The Tower of Arathor is a ruined wizard's tower situated in the former mage district in the southwestern reaches of Stromgarde Keep. Once the workshop of Archmage Trelane, it was overrun during the fall of the city and is currently occupied by Boulderfist ogres.
A Bastion Overrun
Erected in the heart of Stromgarde Keep's mage district and named after the ancient Empire of Arathor, this spire long served the realm's sorcerers. Its most notable resident, Archmage Trelane, devised a magical defensive grid keyed to enchanted gemstones to protect the sanctum. However, when the Syndicate and the Boulderfist ogre clan assaulted Stromgarde following the Third War, the kingdom fractured. Despite Trelane's desperate attempts to hold the tower using his arcane wards, the sheer brutish force of the ogres overwhelmed him. Forced to flee the city for his life, the archmage left behind his most prized arcane artifacts, leaving the spire in the hands of the Boulderfist brute Ruul Onestone and his followers.
