Terrorweb Tunnel
Terrorweb Tunnel is a subterranean passage carving through the mountains between Terrordale and the Thondroril River. Infested with the Scourge's undead nerubian crypt fiends, it forms a hazardous subterranean shortcut across the western border of the Eastern Plaguelands.
A Subterranean Infestation
Bored straight through the mountains flanking the Thondroril River, the Terrorweb Tunnel links the contaminated village of Terrordale with the riverbanks to the south. Rather than typical ghouls or skeletal sentries, this dark subterranean bypass is claimed entirely by crypt fiends—mummified nerubian arachnids raised into servitude by the Lich King. Traveling the length of the passage cuts out long circuits around the mountain slopes, but requires navigating thick webs and avoiding towering nerubian overseers that patrol the dark.
