Temple of Arkkoran
The Temple of Arkkoran is an ancient night elven ruin resting on the northeastern cliffs of Azshara above the Shattered Strand. Originally built in honor of Elune, the crumbling structure has since been claimed by the towering sea giant Arkkoroc and his aquatic thralls.
A Consecrated Ruin Claimed by the Sea
Like many of the grand ruins dotting Azshara's coast, the Temple of Arkkoran was once a sanctum dedicated to the moon goddess Elune before the Sundering shattered the ancient night elf empire. Today, its weathered marble steps and broken colonnades are overrun by tidal monstrosities. The sea giant Arkkoroc presides over the temple's highest level, surrounded by loyal makrura and vicious murlocs who violently defend the surrounding coastline from any land-dwelling intruders.
