Bay of Storms
The Bay of Storms is an expansive, tempestuous gulf carving into the rugged eastern cliffs of Azshara. Its churning waters harbor ancient ruins, submerged caverns, and perilous marine beasts that make seafaring along this coast hazardous.
A Tempestuous Coast
Opening out toward the Great Sea, the Bay of Storms defines much of Azshara's dramatic coastal geography. Far from a tranquil harbor, its turbulent waters and rocky outcrops are home to dangerous wildlife and ancient aquatic threats. Within and along its waters lie landmarks like the sunken Temple of Arkkoran, the coral reefs of Hetaera's Clutch, and Scalebeard's Cave, leaving the bay largely avoided by casual sailors and claimed instead by coastal monsters.
