Hetaera's Clutch

Before the Great Sundering tore ancient Kalimdor apart, this structure served as a grand temple dedicated to the moon goddess Elune. Cast into the depths of the Bay of Storms, its stone pillars and sacred halls have spent ten thousand years beneath the sea. Today, all signs of holy veneration have been swallowed by the tides, leaving behind a solemn monument to the lost Kaldorei empire.

The submerged sanctuary has taken on a far deadlier identity as the nesting ground of Hetaera, a massive multi-headed hydra who stalks the nearby coastal waters and rocky isles. Her numerous offspring, the Spawn of Hetaera, prowl through the ruined arches and corridors of the drowned temple, attacking any surface-dweller bold enough to dive into the bay.
