Stormwind Stockade

Tucked away beneath the canals along the northern edge of the Mage Quarter, the Stockade serves as Stormwind's high-security penitentiary. Intended to lock away murderers, political dissidents, and foreign enemies, the subterranean fortress has recently collapsed into total chaos following a coordinated inmate rebellion.

Ordinarily overseen by Warden Thelwater, the Stockade is where the kingdom deposits its most volatile prisoners, ranging from cutthroats and Defias operatives to captured Blackrock orcs and Dark Iron dwarves. However, a violent uprising orchestrated by the cunning Defias conspirator Bazil Thredd has entirely displaced the prison guards. The inmates now roam freely in the lower cells, turning the fortress into a fortress of riots. Thelwater, having barely secured the entry thresholds, relies on independent adventurers to plunge into the subterranean corridors and suppress the revolt before it spills out into the canals.
