Shadow Hold
Shadow Hold is a sprawling subterranean complex hidden within the blighted canyon of Jaedenar in western Felwood. Once a sacred night elf barrow den, it has been seized and desecrated by the Shadow Council to serve as their primary bastion on Kalimdor.
A Defiled Sanctuary
Beneath the corrupted red earth of Jaedenar lies Shadow Hold, a vast underground labyrinth carved out of what was once an ancient night elf barrow den. Where sleeping druids once rested to tend the Emerald Dream, dark warlocks and demonic servitors now stalk twisted corridors illuminated by fel fire. At its deepest tiers, the cult commands a formidable force under the dreadlord Lord Banehollow, Prince Xavalis, and Shadow Lord Fel'dan, making it the supreme seat of demonic influence in the region.
