Ruins of Andorhal
Once the agricultural hub and grain distribution center of northern Lordaeron, the Ruins of Andorhal now lie at the heart of the Western Plaguelands as a devastated Necropolis stronghold. Under the dominion of the lich Araj the Summoner, the shattered township crawls with legions of undead abominations, ghouls, and wraiths.
Heart of the Plague
Andorhal was the initial staging ground for the plague of undeath in Lordaeron, where grain tainted by the Cult of the Damned was packed and distributed across the human kingdom. Today, the ruined city serves as a sprawling bastion of the Scourge in the Western Plaguelands. Araj the Summoner presides over the center of the ruins, flanked by ghouls, skeletal horrors, and towering flesh golems. Scouting parties of the Scarlet Crusade periodically probe the city's outskirts, but the Scourge maintains iron control over the shattered streets.
