Old Town

Old Town is the oldest and grittiest quarter of Stormwind City, having largely survived the destruction of the First War intact. Rather than gleaming stone plazas, its narrow alleys feature weathered brick, working-class tenements, and bustling military facilities. It serves as home to the kingdom's military Command Center as well as the clandestine headquarters of SI:7.

While the rest of Stormwind was painstakingly rebuilt from the ground up by the Stonemasons following the First War, Old Town escaped total ruin. Because it did not require wholesale reconstruction, it never received the pristine marble facades and grand canals seen in the Trade District or Cathedral Square. Instead, it remains a rustic, crowded quarter where working folk, laborers, and the city's poorest residents reside. Its cobbled streets are narrower, dirtier, and far more chaotic than the rest of the capital, yet they preserve the authentic atmosphere of pre-war Stormwind.
