Noxious Glade

While the Argent Dawn maintains its vigil at Light's Hope Chapel, an encampment of the Scourge lurks directly in the hills above them to the north. The Noxious Glade suffers from an infection far more severe than much of the surrounding terrain: the air hangs thick with a sickly green mist, and the soil has rotted into deep bruised purples. Within the hollow, the undead have erected ziggurats, a slaughterhouse for cobbling together abominations, and a plague cauldron that continuously spews pestilence into the atmosphere.

Because of its close proximity to the chapel, the glade poses a persistent threat to travelers, couriers, and holy warriors working out of Light's Hope. The Scourge forces entrenched here construct foul monstrosities and brew toxins undisturbed by the sunlight, kept hidden by the surrounding natural ridge until an unwary traveler climbs the path directly into their midst.
