Mirror Lake is a picturesque body of water tucked into northwestern Elwynn Forest near an orchard. Fed by a gentle waterfall beneath the cliffs of Stormwind, its tranquil surface belies the dangers lurking on its shores, from prowling Defias bandits to strange disruptions in the local ley lines.

Situated beneath the towering ramparts of Stormwind City, Mirror Lake ought to be a peaceful retreat for fishermen and weary travelers. Instead, brigands of the Defias Brotherhood stalk the surrounding orchards, making any prolonged stay perilous for passing locals. Worse still, mystical disturbances across Azeroth have begun warping the natural channels of arcane energy throughout the forest. The mages of the Wizard's Sanctum keep a cautious eye on the lake, sending practitioners to sample its currents and ensure that downstream communities are not poisoned by chaotic arcane runoff.
