Mirkfallon Lake

Mirkfallon Lake sits in a central highland basin in the Stonetalon Mountains, nestled beneath the sheer cliffs of Windshear Crag. Its waters and surrounding banks teem with native wildlife, including aggressive slimes, roaming thunder lizards, and descending wyverns.

Positioned at the geographic center of the Stonetalon range, Mirkfallon Lake rests between the mountain passes leading south toward the Webwinder Path and north toward Cliffwalker Post and Stonetalon Peak. Fed by highland runoff, the lake offers a fertile oasis amidst the craggy peaks, drawing thunder lizards down to drink and wyverns from their roosts high above. The waters are also inhabited by strange, bubbling slimes, turning an otherwise serene mountain tarn into a hazardous crossing for lone travelers.
