Lariss Pavilion
Lariss Pavilion is an ancient elven structure tucked into the wilderness of Feralas just north of Camp Mojache. While once a peaceful retreat of classical night elf architecture, the surrounding forest has grown dangerous due to corrupted dryads, and an exiled Highborne mage now bides his time within its shade.
A Ruin of the Highborne
Standing quietly on the bluffs north of Camp Mojache, Lariss Pavilion showcases the graceful stonework and towering archways of the ancient kaldorei empire. In its prime, it served the great city of Eldre'Thalas, now known as Dire Maul. Today, it offers a sheltered overlook above the dense canopy of Feralas, but the peace here is frail: the once-gentle dryads wandering the surrounding glades have fallen to madness and corruption, turning fiercely hostile to anyone who draws near.
Azj'Tordin and the Hidden Passage
The pavilion's most notable resident is the elusive elf Azj'Tordin. Having broken away from Prince Tortheldrin's decadent rule within Dire Maul, Azj'Tordin escaped the ruins through a secret passage connecting the pavilion directly to the ancient city's underbelly. However, his quiet exile has been disrupted: an erratic imp named Pusillin stole his treasured book of incantations, leaving the exile seeking outside aid to recover it.
