Ironband's Compound

Ironband's Compound is a fortified outpost tucked into the snowy hills south of Helm's Bed Lake in eastern Dun Morogh. Formerly home to the prospector Sturgy Ironband, the camp has been overrun by hostile Dark Iron dwarves who attack anyone venturing too close.

Originally established by Sturgy Ironband, this compound south of Helm's Bed Lake once served as a staging post in the snowy wilderness of Dun Morogh. That changed when Dark Iron infiltrators pushed deep into Bronzebeard territory and seized the site for themselves. Now bristling with hostile dwarves, the compound serves as an enemy forward base threatening travelers and nearby settlements, right under the nose of Ironforge.
