Drygulch Ravine

The story

Drygulch Ravine is a rugged, hidden gorge tucked into the rocky bluffs of eastern Durotar. Accessible only through an obscure cave passage from Razorwind Canyon or a perilous drop from above, this craggy trench is overrun by nesting Dustwind harpies who menace nearby supply caravans.

Carved deep into the crags east of Orgrimmar, Drygulch Ravine is almost entirely cut off from casual travel. Its only ground-level access is a cramped natural tunnel connected to Razorwind Canyon. Fed by a modest river, this sheltered depression once saw peaceful orc habitation, but wild beasts and roosting Dustwind harpies have turned it into a lawless pocket of Durotar. The winged scavengers use the steep cliff faces to nest their broods and stockpile stolen goods taken from Horde supply trains passing along the regional trails.
