Darkspear Strand

Darkspear Strand is the stretch of coastline in southern Durotar where the Darkspear trolls washed ashore following their exile from the Echo Isles. Located directly beside Sen'jin Village, this beach marks the bitter beginning of the tribe's mainland refuge under Vol'jin's leadership.

When the witch doctor Zalazane went mad and seized control of the Echo Isles, the surviving Darkspear trolls were forced to abandon their offshore home. Desperate refugees crossed the narrow waters and landed along this sun-bleached coast. Rather than scatter into the hostile red wastes of Durotar, the survivors banded together just yards inland from the shoreline to construct Sen'jin Village. Today, the strand serves as a quiet reminder of their displacement, looking out across the surf toward the islands they still hope to reclaim.
