Broken Hall
The Broken Hall serves as the flooded outer threshold of the sunken Temple of Atal'Hakkar in the Swamp of Sorrows. Shattered when the Great Dragon Aspect Ysera and her flight dragged the grand ziggurat beneath the waters, this ruin now stands deserted as the Atal'ai zealots retreat into deeper sanctums.
Flooded Threshold
When the green dragons brought down their wrath upon the Atal'ai priesthood and submerged their unholy ziggurat beneath the Pool of Tears, the outermost architecture bore the brunt of the cataclysm. The floor of the Broken Hall collapsed completely, allowing murky swamp waters to flood the chamber. Because of the damage and submersion, the troll cultists abandoned this entrance hall, withdrawing further into the complex. Adventurers entering the sunken temple must wade through these sodden ruins before mounting the stairs to reach the Hall of Masks.
