Beached Sea Creature
Along the fog-draped strand of Mist's Edge lies the massive carcass of a sea thresher, far larger than any native to Darkshore's shallows. While local murlocs pick through the carrion, naturalists in Auberdine seek bone samples to understand why such colossal deep-sea beasts are beaching themselves along the coast.
Quest text
The remains of a giant thresher - much larger than one you'd expect to find in Darkshore - lie beached on the coast of the Mist's Edge. How this creature came to be here is unknown; the group of murlocs that now feast off the carcass of it seem to be much too weak, even in large numbers, to have brought down the beast.
While some of it has been picked clean, enough of it remains to take a sample for Gwennyth Bly'Leggonde in Auberdine to study.
Progress
Perhaps one day we'll find a means to prevent these poor creatures from ending their lives needlessly on the coast of Darkshore. Until then, we must continue our research!
