Willem
Deputy Willem is a human soldier of the Stormwind Army stationed directly outside Northshire Abbey. Serving under Marshal McBride, he acts as the primary field liaison directing new recruits to handle local threats in Northshire Valley. His immediate focus is suppressing the growing encroachment of the Defias Brotherhood.
A Watchman at the Abbey
Standing just steps from the gates of Northshire Abbey, Deputy Willem represents the frontline presence of the Stormwind Army in the valley. With the kingdom's military stretched thin across multiple territories, local security falls heavily on small detachments like McBride's garrison. Willem evaluates incoming volunteers, assigning them immediate tasks to assist local residents and safeguard the valley's perimeter.
Confronting the Defias
Willem's most pressing concern is the brazen activity of the Defias Brotherhood. Bandits sporting red bandanas have pushed directly into Northshire, stealing supplies, menacing local farmers like Milly Osworth, and establishing footholds around the surrounding vineyards and hills. Willem coordinates bounties on known cutthroats such as Garrick Padfoot to break their leadership before they can seize the abbey grounds.
