Red Burlap Bandana
Red Burlap Bandanas are the crude, dyed cloth masks worn by low-ranking highwaymen and cutpurses of the Defias Brotherhood. In Northshire Valley, Deputy Willem collects these pieces of cloth as proof of slain thieves encroaching near the abbey vineyards.
A Mark of the Brotherhood
Worn across the lower face, the red burlap bandana serves as the identifying badge of the Defias Brotherhood's rank-and-file. Made from cheap, rough fabric and soaked in red dye, the cloth conceals a thief's features while signaling allegiance to the growing rebellion. In Northshire, young recruits and common thugs carry these scarves into the eastern orchards, unaware that the local guards use the striking red fabric as a grim bounty marker.
