Sputtervalve

Sputtervalve is a stressed goblin engineer stationed in the port town of Ratchet. Serving the Tinkers' Union under Director Riddlevox, he oversees regional shredder research and development under crushing corporate deadlines. To keep his standing, he frequently hires adventurers to engage in industrial espionage against the rival Venture Company.

Operating out of Ratchet, Sputtervalve answers to Director Riddlevox of the Tinkers' Union. Put in charge of shredder development, he quickly discovered that keeping pace with modern mechanization is brutal work. Facing fierce competition and an unforgiving deadline, Sputtervalve found himself with few working prototypes of his own. Rather than admit failure to the Union, he turned toward the classic goblin solution: stealing better designs from whoever built them first.
