Longbraid the Grim
Longbraid the Grim is an Ironforge dwarf commander stationed just outside the fallen fortress of Dun Modr in the northern Wetlands. Mourning the loss of his brother and the overrun of the Thandol Span, he coordinates the surviving dwarf forces against the invading Dark Iron clan.
A Bitter Watch
Positioned within sight of the bridge to the Arathi Highlands, Longbraid the Grim rallies what remains of the dwarven garrison after the Dark Iron clan seized Dun Modr. The sudden assault devastated the regional defenders and resulted in the death of Longbraid's own brother during the siege of the Thandol Span. Burdened by grief and hatred, Longbraid refuses to abandon the northern boundary, directing travelers and surviving mountaineers in surgical strikes to curb the Dark Iron advance.
Holding the Line
Beyond defending the approach to the bridge, Longbraid oversees broader dwarven operations across the Wetlands. He dispatched vital soldiers to escort Prospector Whelgar into the marshlands and works relentlessly to reclaim the lost fortifications of Dun Modr, vowing retribution against the Dark Iron saboteurs.
