Gilnid

Gilnid, known as the Smelter, is the goblin master engineer running the forges in the depths of the Deadmines. He oversees the smelting of raw ore into refined metal and munitions for Edwin VanCleef's hidden ironclad juggernaut. Without his fiery operations, the Defias Brotherhood would lack the heavy cannons needed to assault Stormwind.

Deep within the Deadmines, the Defias Brotherhood relies on industrial expertise to forge weapons of war. Gilnid serves as VanCleef's head smelter, commanding a small army of goblin laborers, tinkers, and smiths in the central foundry. Towering over most of his kin, he drives his crew relentlessly through smoke and slag, barking orders and refusing breaks to ensure raw iron ore is processed into heavy plating and lethal ordnance.
