Falfindel Waywarder

Falfindel Waywarder is a night elf druid stationed at Thalanaar, the outpost guarding the border between Feralas and the Thousand Needles. From this frontier watchpost, he works to heal corrupted lands and safeguard the southern wilderness of Kalimdor. Travelers wandering down from Stonetalon or the Barrens often find him seeking aid to restore balance to the wild.

Watch at the Southern Border

Thalanaar marks the gateway where the lush forests of Feralas descend into the towering mesas and dry salt plains of Thousand Needles. Falfindel Waywarder stands watch at this remote outpost, greeting weary travelers who have ventured far across the continent. Surrounded by natural grandeur and lurking dangers, he serves as a point of contact for the night elves seeking to monitor both local threats and broader environmental calamities across Kalimdor.

Healing the Charred Vale

Despite his southern post, Falfindel remains deeply concerned with the devastation far to the north in Stonetalon Mountains. The Charred Vale, ruined by dark sorcery and fiery destruction, stands as a painful scar upon Kalimdor's wilderness. When adventurers deliver aid to Falfindel to assist in its recovery, he calls upon the spirits of the forest. Summoning forth swarms of wisps, he directs them to make haste north to Stonetalon to begin mending the scorched earth.

Eyes on the Quilboar and the Wastes

In addition to coordinating restoration efforts, Falfindel keeps a close watch on the surrounding region, including the quilboar dens of Razorfen Kraul. By reviewing recovered journals and gathering intelligence on quilboar leadership, Falfindel ensures that the Alliance understands the rising dangers threatening the passes between Feralas and the central deserts.
