Character · Stranglethorn Vale
Doren
Lieutenant Doren commands the Rebel Camp nestled in northern Stranglethorn Vale. Once an officer under Colonel Kurzen, Doren led a mutiny after his superior and fellow expeditionaries descended into madness. Now, he directs a guerrilla resistance determined to uncover the source of the affliction and eliminate Kurzen.
A Mutiny in the Jungle
Lieutenant Doren initially deployed to Stranglethorn Vale under the banner of Stormwind and the command of Colonel Kurzen. The expedition was meant to establish a foothold in the wild southern jungle, but it quickly soured as Kurzen and his inner circle succumbed to an erratic, violent insanity. Refusing to abandon their sanity or their honor, Doren and a cadre of loyalists broke rank. They fled north and carved out the Rebel Camp along the road, choosing defection over servitude to a madman.
