Darkmaster Gandling

Within the dark halls beneath Caer Darrow, Darkmaster Gandling governs Scholomance, the premier academy for the Scourge's aspiring necromancers. A living human serving the Cult of the Damned, Gandling worked alongside the lich Ras Frostwhisper to orchestrate atrocities against countless innocent captives taken from the surrounding lands. Students who enter his classrooms are instructed in plague brewing, reanimation, and flesh sculpting.

Residing deep within the Headmaster's Study, Gandling commands the dark relics and spirits trapped inside the ancient school. He wields devastating arcane and shadow magic in conjunction with forbidden necromantic arts, cursing intruders and hurling them through shadow portals into the sealed chambers surrounding his study, where they must fight alone against the risen dead while Gandling shields himself from harm.
