Webwood Venom Sac
A Webwood Venom Sac is an organ harvested from the overgrown arachnids inhabiting Shadowglen on Teldrassil. Naturalists seek these samples to determine how the unnatural growth of the new World Tree has altered local wildlife.
A Symptom of Teldrassil's Growth
The webwood spiders dwelling around and within Shadowthread Cave are cousins to a far smaller breed of spider found elsewhere. Their sudden enlargement and predatory aggression have raised concerns among night elf researchers. Naturalists like Gilshalan Windwalker study the venom contained within these sacs to analyze its potency and composition, hoping to understand how the rapid, unblessed growth of Teldrassil is warping the creatures that live upon its boughs.
