Shadowthread Cave

Shadowthread Cave is a damp cavern carved into the northwest cliffs of Shadowglen on Teldrassil. Traditionally inhabited by indigenous Webwood spiders, the cave has recently turned dangerously aggressive under the dominion of their broodmother, Githyiss the Vile.

Tucked away in the shaded perimeter of Shadowglen, Shadowthread Cave has long served as a natural lair for Teldrassil's giant spiders. In earlier years, these arachnids coexisted quietly alongside the nascent boughs of the World Tree. Recently, however, their temperament has turned fiercely territorial. Thick layers of webwood silk now choke the stone corridors, and the aggressive nature of the brood poses an immediate hazard to young kaldorei taking their first steps beyond Aldrassil.
