Thistlenettle's Badge
Thistlenettle's Badge is an official insignia of the dwarven Explorers' League, once carried proudly by Foreman Thistlenettle into the depths of the Deadmines. Following a catastrophic cave-in and an invasion of thieves, the token is all that remains to confirm the foreman's tragic fate to his surviving brother in Stormwind.
The Explorers' League in the Deadmines
Before the Defias Brotherhood locked down Moonbrook and the cavernous tunnels beneath it, dwarven prospectors affiliated with Ironforge's Explorers' League delved into the old gold mines of Westfall. Foreman Thistlenettle and his crew worked deep underground until a sudden tunnel collapse separated the team. While his brother Wilder managed to escape to Stormwind City, the foreman and several laborers remained trapped in the subterranean dark.
