Pristine Spider Silk
Pristine Spider Silk is an exceptionally fine thread gathered from the venomous arachnids of Duskwood. Mages of Stormwind commission this rare material to weave durable, enchanted robes worthy of recognized practitioners of the arcane arts.
Weaving the Arcane
Not just any thread can hold the enchantments and wear demanded by a practicing mage. While ordinary spider silk is common enough among tailors, only the immaculate strands taken from carrion recluses and black widow hatchlings in the shadowed groves of Duskwood possess the necessary resilience. The mages of Stormwind's Wizard's Sanctum send their rising adepts into these perilous woods to harvest pristine spools, tasking local master tailor Wynne Larson with fashioning the material into a garment fit for an adept.
