Miners' Union Card
A Miners' Union Card is an identification credential once carried by laborers working the rich subterranean veins beneath Moonbrook. Following a catastrophic cave-in that sealed a wing of the tunnels, these tokens now remain on the restless skeletal corpses wandering the dark drifts.
Tragedy in the Deep
Long before the Defias Brotherhood took absolute control over Moonbrook, laborers toiled underground under the banner of the miners' guild, extracting valuable ore for the kingdom. That ended in disaster when a severe tunnel collapse crushed a major shaft, trapping and killing dozens of workers beneath tons of rock. Rather than finding a quiet grave, those who perished rose again as skeletal miners, excavators, and dynamiters. The union cards clutched in their bony pockets are the sole surviving proof of their identities, sought out by surviving colleagues in Stormwind hoping to bring closure to grieving families.
