Marshal Haggard's Badge

Though Marshal Haggard has long retired to his small farmstead in the hills of Elwynn Forest, his old Stormwind Marshal's badge still holds official weight. Under the cover of night, a Defias rogue named Dead-tooth Jack donned a Stormwind tabard and posed as Marshal Dughan, Goldshire's garrison commander. Tricked into believing his former peers required the insignia for official business, the aging Haggard handed it over without suspicion. Jack fled into the woods before the retired officer realized the ruse. In the hands of the Defias Brotherhood, such an emblem of Stormwind authority could allow outlaws to slip past checkpoints or sow confusion among local patrols.
