Large Soran'ruk Fragment

When demons of the Burning Legion fall out of favor with their dark masters, their spirits are sometimes condemned to imprisonment within enchanted orbs. These vessels are subsequently distributed among mages and warlocks aligned with the Legion, who draw upon the potent fel forces trapped within. Even when shattered into fragments, the lingering essence of the bound fiend still radiates power, making each piece a prize for ambitious practitioners of shadow magic.

The orb of Soran'ruk was long ago cracked into two halves. While one portion was fractured further and dispersed among cultists elsewhere, the larger half was claimed by a sorcerer dwelling within the cursed stronghold of Shadowfang Keep. There, carried among the sinister Shadowfang Darksouls, the Large Soran'ruk Fragment channels demonic power until sought out by those hoping to reforge the ancient vessel.
