Iron Shaft
The Iron Shaft is a metallic segment of Dartol's Rod, a relic Raene Wolfrunner's friend Teronis sought in hopes of slowing the furbolg assaults on Ashenvale. Recovered from a locked chest near the border of Felwood, it serves as a crucial component in restoring the relic for the defenders of Ashenvale.
A Piece of Dartol's Rod
Dartol's Rod was the creation of Dartol, and its pieces were scattered across Ashenvale; one was even given to the druids of Dor'Danil for safekeeping. The Iron Shaft represents the sturdy metal core of the instrument, secured away inside a locked chest in a secluded glade near the northern border of Ashenvale, not far from the tainted realm of Felwood.
