Hand of Dextren Ward
The Hand of Dextren Ward is a severed trophy taken from a condemned grave robber imprisoned within the Stormwind Stockade. Delivered to Darkshire, it serves as proof that frontier justice has finally been carried out against a man who desecrated the town's dead.
A Defiler's Toll
Dextren Ward earned a death sentence from Lord Ebonlocke after he was caught digging up bodies in the Duskwood cemeteries and selling them to the necromancer Morbent Fel. Before the town could execute him, Stormwind intervened, hauling the criminal away to the Stockade. For the grieving families of Darkshire, the Hand of Dextren Ward is physical proof that the defiler has met the execution he deserved, bypassing the House of Nobles' unwanted leniency.
