Glyphic Tablet

In the Valley of Trials, new Darkspear troll initiates exhibiting an affinity for arcane power are presented with the Glyphic Tablet. Passed along by Gornek while young recruits handle early tasks around the red canyons, the tablet contains an invitation from Mai'ah, a seasoned troll mage posted outside the Den. For the Darkspear, whose arcane traditions diverge from the scholarly academies of humans or high elves, the tablet serves as a formal call to discipline. Mai'ah uses the meeting to offer both arcane instruction and a solemn warning: raw magic is corruptive, deceptive, and far more hazardous to a practitioner's mind than any enemy soldier.
