Gornek

Gornek is an orc overseer stationed in the Valley of Trials in Durotar. He serves as the primary point of intake for fresh orc and Darkspear troll recruits preparing to prove their worth to the New Horde.

Standing directly at the heart of the Valley of Trials, Gornek represents the initial test of discipline for aspiring Horde warriors, scouts, and spellcasters. Under Warchief Thrall's order, every youth and newcomer must earn their place through grit and perseverance rather than entitlement. Gornek assesses those stepping into the valley, reading their introductory orders and directing them to trainers throughout the compound. Whether an initiate carries an encrypted scrawl, a glyphic parchment, or a simple tablet, it is Gornek who receives their credentials and sets them upon their harsh path of survival.
