Fallen Moonstone
A Fallen Moonstone is a luminous, magically charged stone gathered from the tranquil waters of Fallen Sky Lake in Ashenvale. Imbued with sacred lunar energy, these stones possess potent restorative properties capable of renewing vitality and curing severe frailty.
Gifts of the Night Sky
Fallen Moonstones were once gathered in abundance along the shores and shallows of Fallen Sky Lake, southeast of Astranaar. Highly treasured by the night elves for their restorative magic and lunar blessing, they were often sought out to aid in recovery when ordinary remedies proved insufficient. However, harvesting them became treacherous when corrupt Shadethicket bog beasts overran the lake. Their leader, a Shadethicket Oracle, hoarded every stone it could find on a small central island, cutting off the local Kaldorei from a vital source of healing.
