Ancient Moonstone Seal
The Ancient Moonstone Seal is a powerful relic of Highborne sorcery forged long before the Sundering. Imbued with potent arcane binding magic, it served as the anchor holding the spirit of Asterion captive within the ruins of Bashal'Aran.
A Prison of Highborne Sorcery
Forged by Asterion's former master, the powerful Highborne sorcerer Athrikus Narassin, the Ancient Moonstone Seal was crafted to serve as an unbreakable metaphysical anchor. While the Well of Eternity still stood and Queen Azshara reigned, Athrikus used the artifact to bind Asterion's soul to the pillars of Bashal'Aran. Over ten millennia later, Asterion remained an incorporeal prisoner to its magic, unable to break the ward with any strength or spell he possessed.
