Burning Blade clan
Once an ancient orcish clan renowned for its deadly blademasters and consumed by chaotic frenzy during the early wars, the Burning Blade now largely persists as a sinister demon-worshiping cult. Infiltrating Durotar and the Barrens under the direction of the Shadow Council, its acolytes threaten the fragile peace of the region. Meanwhile, a handful of honorable blademasters have forsaken demonic corruption to serve Warchief Thrall in the New Horde.
From Clan to Elemental Fury
Originating in the lands of Draenor alongside clans like the Warsong, the Burning Blade were long respected for the lethal tradition of their blademasters. When they drank the blood of Mannoroth and marched through the Dark Portal into Azeroth during the First War, however, the clan fractured mentally. By the Second War, they were scarcely an organized society, behaving instead like a berserk force of nature. Nomadic and demented, they threw themselves into battle with total disregard for survival, requiring ogres to hold them in check until unleashed. Ultimately, their numbers were battered and routed near the Dark Portal by the Alliance.
