Woodpaw Hills
The Woodpaw Hills are a rugged, forested stretch of southeastern Feralas claimed by the Woodpaw gnolls. Once a dominant tribal territory, the hills have become an embattled frontline as insectoid terrors tunnel up from below and ancient stone giants stalk the canopy.
A Beleaguered Stronghold
The dense forests of the Woodpaw Hills serve as the historical territory of the Woodpaw gnoll clan. While the hyena-folk once roamed unchallenged across these slopes, their dominance has crumbled under pressure from multiple fronts. To their southeast, nightmarish silithid swarmers have breached the earth at the Writhing Deep, forcing the gnolls back and compelling their chieftains to retreat deeper into the Woodpaw Den. Adding to the peril, ancient mountain giants—relics summoned down during the Third War to repel the Burning Legion—now wander the hillside woods, crushing any travelers or Horde interlopers who stray into their path.
