Whispering Gardens
The Whispering Gardens occupy the terraced hillside just south of the Scarlet Monastery in northeastern Tirisfal Glades. Once a place of quiet contemplation, it became the site of a savage clash between early crusade defenders and a massive host of the Scourge. Today, crusaders patrol its overgrown pathways while the faint voices of the fallen linger in the air.
A Battle Echoing in the Mist
Before the Scarlet Crusade fully retreated behind the fortress walls of the Monastery, a fierce battle erupted across these terraced slopes against an encroaching army of undead. The clash claimed countless lives on both sides. In the twilight, travelers through the gardens report hearing strange, soft murmurings on the wind—believed to be the restless echoes of the soldiers and priests who perished defending the holy grounds.
Crusader Outpost
Despite the haunting presence, the Scarlet Crusade maintains an active watch over the gardens. Scarlet scouts, magicians, and preservers guard the trails to intercept any intruders approaching from the lower glades. For the zealots within the nearby monastery, these overgrown steps serve as both a defensive bulwark and a solemn reminder of the ceaseless war against the undead.
