Wellspring River

The Wellspring River flows from a natural spring within Teldrassil, coursing north out of Wellspring Lake until it plummets off the boughs in a towering waterfall to the ocean far below. Once a peaceful source of fresh water for the World Tree's ecosystem, its banks have grown perilous due to agitated local wildlife.

Nourished by the deep natural springs nestled in the boughs of Teldrassil, the Wellspring River carries water north from Wellspring Lake across the verdant forest floor before cascading dramatically over the edge of the great tree down into the sea below. Despite the serene surroundings, the riverbanks are increasingly unsafe. The timberlings that dwell along the water have grown crazed and hostile, violently attacking travelers and druids who attempt to draw near the river's edge.
