Stagalbog
The Stagalbog is a dense, waterlogged marsh stretch across the southern reaches of the Swamp of Sorrows. Bordering the southern mountain range just below the Pool of Tears, it remains an untamed wilderness.
The Southern Mire
Stretching beneath the shadow of the southern crags, the Stagalbog is typical of the Swamp of Sorrows: stagnant water, drooping reeds, and tangled vegetation. It sits immediately south of the sunken ruins of the Temple of Atal'Hakkar, caught between the tainted lake and the rocky boundary of the region. Apart from rough wildlife, civilization has established no foothold here.
Shadow of the Temple
Because it borders the Pool of Tears, the Stagalbog frequently catches whatever shadows or corruptions seep from the Sunken Temple.
