Southpoint Tower
Southpoint Tower is a ruined Lordaeron scout tower situated at the western border of Hillsbrad Foothills, overlooking the road to Silverpine Forest. Once a human sentry post, the shattered structure is now utilized by Forsaken scouts keeping watch over Alliance movements in the region.
A Ruined Sentinel
Standing just south of the highway linking Silverpine Forest and Hillsbrad Foothills, Southpoint Tower was originally built by the Kingdom of Lordaeron to guard traffic moving between the eastern farmlands and the western woods. Following the Third War and the Scourge's destruction of the kingdom, the stonework fell into ruin. Today, it stands roofless and crumbling, an isolated relic of human dominion in a fractured territory.
Eyes on the Hills
Despite its collapsed state, the vantage point remains tactically valuable. The Forsaken maintain an outpost here, stationing agents such as Deathstalker Lesh to spy on local Alliance patrols, the nearby human settlements of Hillsbrad Fields, and travelers passing along the primary road. Because of its lonely location right near hostile territory, the tower frequently becomes a flashpoint for skirmishes.
