Shadowsong Shrine
Shadowsong Shrine is a ruined hillside sanctuary situated in western Azshara, not far from the Ashenvale border. Haunted by the restless spirits of ancient Highborne, the site bears the illustrious name of the Shadowsong bloodline, though its true historical connection to them remains shrouded in mystery.
A Haunted Legacy
Perched upon a high hill overlooking the shattered lands of Azshara, the Shadowsong Shrine lies in ancient, overgrown ruin. Like much of the surrounding coast, it is plagued by the lingering apparitions of Highborne ghosts who wander among the fallen stonework, seeking to extinguish any mortal life that trespasses upon their domain. The shrine shares its name with Maiev Shadowsong, the unrelenting warden of Illidan Stormrage. Whether this sanctuary honors her family or dates back to before the Sundering is a secret lost to the ages.
