Pools of Arlithrien

The Pools of Arlithrien are a cluster of secluded springs resting in western Teldrassil, just south of the gates to Darnassus. Once a tranquil retreat centered around a sacred moonwell, the area has fallen into neglect and danger as local wildlife and nearby hostile Gnarlpine furbolgs encroached upon it.

Tucked along the shaded boughs south of Darnassus, the Pools of Arlithrien were originally meant to be a quiet place of natural harmony. At their heart lies a stone moonwell, a vessel for the waters imbued with the grace of Elune. Yet despite its proximity to the night elven capital, the sanctuary has become perilous. Agitated beasts roam the shallows, and the persistent hostility of the displaced Gnarlpine furbolgs forced the night elves to abandon routine upkeep of the site, leaving a peaceful wonder shadowed by the island's growing malaise.
