Menethil Bay
Menethil Bay is the sheltered body of water along the western coast of the Wetlands, nestled between Menethil Harbor and the steep northern cliffs of Dun Morogh. Opening outward into the wider Baradin Bay, these waters are home to aggressive crocolisks and the remains of sunken vessels. It serves as the primary maritime approach for Alliance traffic journeying between the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor.
Sheltered Waters of the Wetlands
Part of the larger Baradin Bay along the Great Sea, Menethil Bay forms a natural inlet bordered by Menethil Harbor to the north, Black Channel Marsh to the east, and the towering coastal bluffs of Dun Morogh to the south. Its shallow margins and marshy shores crawl with crocolisks of various ages and sizes, making the shallows treacherous for unguided travelers even though the bay serves as the lifeblood of Alliance maritime travel. Near the mouth of the bay lies the ruined wreckage of the Flying Osprey, a silent reminder of the dangers lurking beneath the surface.
