Black Channel Marsh
Black Channel Marsh is a murky mire situated in the southwestern Wetlands, flanking the main road leading toward Menethil Harbor. Infested with aggressive raptors, the soggy terrain poses an immediate threat to unwary travelers and supply couriers traversing the coastal lowlands.
Peril on the Menethil Road
Stretching across the swampy low ground southwest of the main thoroughfare, Black Channel Marsh is infamous among caravan drivers and couriers heading to Menethil Harbor. While the raised road offers the illusion of safety, the stagnant channels and thick reeds are home to territorial raptor packs. Hungry beasts frequently stray directly into traffic, ambushing fresh recruits and weary wayfarers who stray even a pace or two from the beaten path.
