Malden's Orchard

Malden's Orchard is a ruined farmstead in northern Silverpine Forest, named after the human owner who fled during the Scourge invasion of Lordaeron. Long abandoned, its dark evergreen trees sit overgrown while vicious black worgs stalk the grounds. The orchard's crumbling cottage served as a temporary refuge for a stranded Forsaken scout cut off from his unit.

Before the Third War, this homestead supplied fresh fruit to the towns of Lordaeron, tended by a farmer named Malden. When the Scourge tore through the kingdom, Malden abandoned his land to flee the plague. In the years since, the orchard has choked under the dark, encroaching mists of Silverpine Forest. The evergreen trees remain unpruned and their fruit rots ungathered on blighted boughs, leaving the plot entirely reclaimed by wild predators.
